We appreciate your financial advice Rose. Thank you!
Never trust banks
Yea but there are fees, some that don't have to be disclosed, that ETF's don't have. The fee difference between the two is significant.
Do you get paid dividends from your index funds?
Some excellent advice particularly for the many people getting into investing .Gives you the discipline to put some of that pay check away each month too.
Rose…you rock!
I love this
I'm pretty much able to do this with ETFs, at least on Robinhood. Every Friday, on my payday I send $200 from my check to Robinhood Brokerage cash account. I then have automatic purchases of $100 each set up on Mondays for VTI and SCHD. It's a couple extra steps, but I get to avoid the extra fees and I can explore selling options on my shares if I wish.
Rose is are you taking into account what's going on with the banking system
I agree!!! I love your content!!

Rose, is your house in Mexico done yet? Any update on that?
Good point, but it's not always so cut and dry. Most mutual index funds distribute capital gains from so-called net realized redemptions where an ETF version would not. This is a problem in a taxable account, especially as your holdings become large.
Also there's the issue of proprietary fund holdings, where the fund is captive to the brokerage that issues it. That's the case of FZROX, for instance.
Even if the fund is not captive, it may be a no transaction fee (NTF) fund at your current broker, but if get upset with your current broker and move to another, the new broker may not have it on it's NTF list.
DCA is way!
Real estate is where it’s at…
Many index funds are ETFs.
This is so helpful… maybe you mentioned this before. But what app or website do I use to set up a reoccurring investment account
Thank you Rose always great advice appreciate you!
